Tungsten alloy is an alloy material with excellent thermal, mechanical, electrical and chemical properties, which is widely used in aviation, aerospace, navigation and other fields. Specifically, the properties of tungsten alloys include high density, high strength, high hardness and good ductility. These properties are not only affected by material composition, raw material ratio, microstructure and working environment, but also affected by process parameters such as sintering temperature.
1、 Density
Taking 90WNiFe alloy as an example, when the sintering temperature is between 1360 ℃ and 1440 ℃, the density of tungsten alloy will increase with the increase of sintering temperature, mainly due to the faster dissolution of tungsten particles with the higher temperature, under the same conditions of chemical composition, raw material ratio and microstructure; When the sintering temperature is greater than 1440 ℃, the density of the alloy will decrease with the increase of the sintering temperature.
2、 Strength
Taking 90WNiFe alloy as an example, when the sintering temperature is between 1360 ℃ and 1440 ℃, the bending strength and tensile strength of tungsten alloy will increase with the increase of temperature, which is mainly due to that the content of liquid bonding phase will increase with the increase of temperature before 1440 ℃, which makes the tungsten particles can be firmly combined. In addition, the tensile stress will increase the strength of the alloy; When the sintering temperature is greater than 1440 ℃, the bending strength and tensile strength of the alloy will decrease with the increase of temperature, and the tensile strength will decrease rapidly.
3、 Plasticity
Taking 90WNiFe alloy as an example, when the sintering temperature is between 1360 ℃ and 1440 ℃, the elongation and reduction of area of tungsten alloy will increase with the increase of temperature; When the sintering temperature is greater than 1440 ℃, the elongation and reduction of area of the alloy will decrease with the increase of temperature. It can be seen that the sintering temperature has a great influence on the properties of high-density tungsten alloys, which has a very important reference value for manufacturing tungsten alloys with high strength, high toughness and ductility and broadening the application range of alloy materials.
