The characteristics and peculiarities of titanium screws and special alloys screws have enabled us to work with the chemical and electrochemical industry in the anodising sector (due to its greater electric conductibility with respect to stainless steel), in the nautical field and the sailing sector, in the medical sector and in robotics.

In particular, titanium screws are used in the nautical field and in the sailing sector for their anticorrosion, mechanical resistance, lightness and nonmagnetic properties. For fastening the superstructural parts of craft, we supply Ergal screws in aluminium Al7075 as they are not susceptible to stress corrosion cracking over time. This is because they have a similar electronegativity to the superstructure material, contrary to the situation with screws and nuts in stainless steel.

Petrochemical plants and oil platforms generally find that titanium is the most suitable material for use at sea owing to its excellent properties of resistance to corrosion, as well as lightness and structural resistance.

In the robotics sector titanium is widely used to reduce weight and guarantee resistance to fatigue, but also because of its nonmagnetic properties and absence of problems of corrosion.

Titanium screws can be used to make mechanical equipment in the field of industrial robotics even at temperatures of 300/400'C.

The yield strength of these screws considerably exceeds that of class 8.8 screws with approximately half the weight.

For the medical industry we are able to develop products according to designs and plans, which are used in the fields of traumatology, surgery and prosthetics.
